Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Principles
There are four EYFS principles:

1.  A Unique Child
2. Positive Relationships
3. Enabling Environments
4. Learning and Development

A UNIQUE CHILD
Every child is a competent learner from birth who can be resilient, capable, self-confident and self-assured.
Babies and children develop in individual ways and at varying rates. Every area of development (physical, linguistic, spiritual, social and emotional) is equally important.

POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS
Children learn to be strong and independent from a base of loving and secure relationships with parents and teachers. These relationships are built by respecting the child and acknowledging his feelings.

ENABLING ENVIRONMENTS
The environment plays a vital role in supporting and extending children's development and learning. Observation, Assessments and Planning spells out how the schedules and routines should flow from the child's need, as each one of them is unique.

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
Children learn and develop in different ways and at different rates and all areas of learning are equally important and interconnected. Plan play time for every lesson, kids learn at their highest in play. Active learning states that children learn best through physical and mental challenges. Creativity and critical thinking comes hand in hand, they explore and built connections for better understanding.

Adult support and parents working as partners with practitioners enhances the child's ability and intelligence.
